Ingredients

For eggless brownies:

  • ¾ cup All-purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1 cup White granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa powder
  • 1 stick or ½ cup Unsalted Butter melted and cooled
  • ½ cup + 2 tablespoons Plain yogurt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Chocolate chips optional
  • ½ cup Walnuts Chopped , optional

Instructions

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 180 degrees C for at least 10 minutes.
  2. First, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. And let it cool down.
  3. meanwhile lightly butter or spray with non-stick cooking spray 8×8 inch baking pan.
  4. Line it with parchment paper with sides up. So, it will be easy to lift after it bakes.
  5. Again, butter or spray the parchment paper. Keep it aside.

Making eggless brownies recipe:

  1. Take all-purpose flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Now sift the cocoa powder. Mix well till incorporated well.
  3. Now take melted and cooled butter in another bowl.
  4. Add yogurt and vanilla extract. Beat it well till everything gets mixed.
  5. Add dry flour mixture. Mix well. Do not over mix.
  6. Add chocolate chips or walnuts if using. And fold them in
  7. Now pour the batter into prepared pan.
  8. And bake it into pre-heated oven for 35-40 minutes.
  9. Check by inserting a toothpick in the center, if it comes out clean then it is ready.
  10. Let brownie cools completely in the pan on a cooling rack before cutting.
  11. After it cools completely, remove it to the cooling rack with the help of the parchment paper.
  12. And using a sharp knife cut into 16 pieces or as per your desire.
  13. Dust them with powdered sugar (optional) and serve.
